或是平坦大路,或是崎嶇窄途;

或在明媚樂土,或在死蔭幽谷;
既有救主親自照護,我就不感苦;

或是陽光滿目,或是黑雲密佈;
既有救主親自部署,我就無所顧;

Hymn:
Down in the valley

1.
Down in the valley with my Savior I would go,
Where the flowers are blooming and the sweet waters flow;
Everywhere He leads me I would follow, follow on,
Walking in His footsteps till the crown be won.

(Chorus)
Follow! follow! I would follow Jesus!
Anywhere, everywhere, I would follow on!
Follow! follow! I would follow Jesus!
Everywhere He leads me I would follow on!

2.
Down in the valley with my Savior I would go,
Where the storms are sweeping and the dark waters flow;
With His hand to lead me I will never, never fear,
Dangers cannot fright me if my Lord is near.

3.
Down in the valley, or upon the mountain steep,
Close beside my Savior would my heart ever keep;
He will lead me safely in the path that He has trod,
Up to where they gather in the rest of God.

我今為祂活著;

使我能專心跟從主;

像祂那樣無我;

把祂分給眾人;

Hymn: He died for me

1.
He died for me that I might live;
I live for Him who died,
My life, my love to Him I give—
Jesus, the Crucified.

(Chorus)
O Jesus, my Lord and Savior,
Help me to fully follow Thee
In life and death and loving service,
As Thou hast lived and died for me.

2.
He died for me that I might die
To Satan, self, and sin;
O death so deep! O life so high!
Help me to enter in.

3.
He lives for me that I may live
As spotless e’en as He;
Savior, to me Thy nature give,
And live Thy life in me.

4.
He lives for me that I may give
His love to hearts that pine;
Let me like Him for others live,
And trace His steps divine.

The Guidance of the Living God and the Entrustment of Testimony

someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go. ... Follow me!

The Willfulness of Youth and the Obedience of aged

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

The Distraction of disobedient and the Concentration of Following

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no Understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.

But Ruth replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.

The True Testimony and the Live out of beauty

It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.

My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.
