If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 就好像我，凡事都叫眾人喜歡，不求自己的益處，只求眾人的益處，叫他們得救。（哥林多前書 1 Corinthians 10:33）
even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved. 你們蒙召原是為此，因基督也為你們受過苦，給你們留下榜樣，叫你們跟隨他的腳蹤行。（彼得前書 1 Peter2:21）
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no Understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you. 你往哪裡去，我也往哪裡去；你在哪裡住宿，我也在哪裡住宿。你的國就是我的國，你的神就是我的神。你在哪裡死，我也在哪裡死，也葬在那裡。（路得記 Ruth 1:16,17）
But Ruth replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.

| 23 | 於是這話傳在弟兄中間，說那門徒不死。其實，耶穌不是說他不死，乃是說：「我若要他等到我來的時候，與你何干？」 |
| 24 | 為這些事作見證，並且記載這些事的就是這門徒；我們也知道他的見證是真的。 |
| 25 | 耶穌所行的事還有許多，若是一一的都寫出來，我想，所寫的書就是世界也容不下了。 |
It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them. 我心裡湧出美辭； 我論到我為王做的事， 我的舌頭是快手筆。（詩篇 Psalm 45:1）
My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.
