| 21 | 耶穌又對他們說：願你們平安！父怎樣差遣了我，我也照樣差遣你們。 |
| 22 | 說了這話，就向他們吹一口氣，說：你們受聖靈！ |
| 23 | 你們赦免誰的罪，誰的罪就赦免了；你們留下誰的罪，誰的罪就留下了。 |
to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.' 你們既為兒子，神就差他兒子的靈進入你們的心，呼叫：阿爸！父！（加拉太書 Galatians 4:6）
Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." 既然信他，就受了所應許的聖靈為印記。這聖靈是我們得基業的憑據，直等到神之民被贖，使他的榮耀得著稱讚。（以弗所書 Ephesians 1:13,14）
When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of his glory. 只等真理的聖靈來了，他要引導你們明白一切的真理，（約翰福音 John 16:13）
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 因我們行事為人是憑著信心，不是憑著眼見。（哥林多後書 2 Corinthians 5:7）
For we live by faith, not by sight.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 兒女既同有血肉之體，他也照樣親自成了血肉之體，特要藉著死敗壞那掌死權的，就是魔鬼，並要釋放那些一生因怕死而為奴僕的人。（希伯來書 Hebrews 2:14）
Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— 你們雖然沒有見過他，卻是愛他；如今雖不得看見，卻因信他就有說不出來、滿有榮光的大喜樂，（彼得前書 1 Peter 1:8）
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
禱讀：約20章31節 要叫你們信耶穌是基督，是神的兒子，就可以因他的名得生命。
you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God… you may have life in his name.

| 22 | And with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. |
| 23 | If you forgive anyone's sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven." |
| 24 | Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. |
| 25 | So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe." |
| 26 | A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" |
