a.無情的羞辱與預言的應驗
The Ruthless Humiliation and the Fulfillment of Prophecy
23兵丁既然將耶穌釘在十字架上，就拿他的衣服分為四分，每兵一分；又拿他的裡衣，這件裡衣原來沒有縫兒，是上下一片織成的。
24他們就彼此說：「我們不要撕開，只要拈鬮，看誰得著。」這要應驗經上的話說：他們分了我的外衣，為我的裡衣拈鬮。兵丁果然做了這事。

犬類圍著我，惡黨環繞我；他們扎了我的手，我的腳。我的骨頭，我都能數過；他們瞪著眼看我。他們分我的外衣，為我的裡衣拈鬮。（詩篇 Psalm 22:16-18）
Dogs surround me, a pack of villains encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet. All my bones are on display; people stare and gloat over me. They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.

b.愛主的情懷與人性的關懷
The love for the Lord and the concern of humanity
25站在耶穌十字架旁邊的，有他母親與他母親的姊妹，並革羅罷的妻子馬利亞，和抹大拉的馬利亞。
26耶穌見母親和他所愛的那門徒站在旁邊，就對他母親說：「母親，看，你的兒子！」
27又對那門徒說：「看，你的母親！」從此，那門徒就接他到自己家裡去了。

所以，耶穌要用自己的血叫百姓成聖，也就在城門外受苦。這樣，我們也當出到營外，就了他去，忍受他所受的凌辱。（希伯來書 Hebrews 13:12,13）
And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate, to sanctify the people by His own blood. Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore.

當孝敬父母，使你的日子在耶和華你神所賜你的地上得以長久。（出埃及記 Exodus 20:12）
Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

c.順從的心志與全然的交託
The determination of obedience and the complete entrustment
28這事以後，耶穌知道各樣的事已經成了，為要使經上的話應驗，就說：「我渴了。」
29有一個器皿盛滿了醋，放在那裡；他們就拿海絨蘸滿了醋，綁在牛膝草上，送到他口。
30耶穌嘗了那醋，就說：「成了！」便低下頭，將靈魂交付神了。

我的精力枯乾，如同瓦片；我的舌頭貼在我牙床上。你將我安置在死地的塵土中。（詩篇 Psalm 22:15）
My mouth is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death.

我指望有人安慰，卻找不著一個。他們拿苦膽給我當食物；我渴了，他們拿醋給我喝。（詩篇 Psalm69:20,21）
I looked for…comforters, but I found no one. They put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst.

兒女既同有血肉之體，他也照樣親自成了血肉之體，特要藉著死敗壞那掌死權的，就是魔鬼。（希伯來書 Hebrews 2:14）
Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—

我將耶和華常擺在我面前，因他在我右邊，我便不至搖動…因為你必不將我的靈魂撇在陰間，也不叫你的聖者見朽壞。（詩篇 Psalm 16:9,10）
because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.

禱讀：約19章30節

耶穌嘗了那醋，就說：「成了！」便低下頭，將靈魂交付神了。
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
