The Unjust Government and the Inspection Cleanliness

a.王權的審問與宗教的詭詐
The Inquisition of Kingship and the Deception of Religion
33彼拉多又進了衙門，叫耶穌來，對他說：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」
34耶穌回答說：「這話是你自己說的，還是別人論我對你說的呢？」
35彼拉多說：「我豈是猶太人呢？你本國的人和祭司長把你交給我。你作了什麼事呢？」

耶和華說：日子將到，我要給大衛興起一個公義的苗裔。他必掌王權，行事有智慧，在地上施行公平和公義。（耶利米書 Jeremiah 23:5）
The days are coming," declares the Lord, "when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.

他的政權與平安必加增無窮，他必在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平、公義使國堅定穩固，從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。（以賽亞書 Isaiah 9:7）
Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

我聽見了許多人的讒謗，四圍都是驚嚇；他們一同商議攻擊我的時候，就圖謀要害我的性命。（詩篇 Psalm 31:13）
For I hear many whispering, "Terror on every side!" They conspire against me and plot to take my life.

我的性命在獅子中間，我躺臥在性如烈火的世人當中，他們的牙齒是槍、箭，他們的舌頭是快刀。（詩篇 Psalm 57:4）
I am in the midst of lions; I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts — men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords.

b.屬天的國度與真理的見證
The Heavenly Kingdom and the Testimony of Truth
36耶穌回答說：「我的國不屬這世界；我的國若屬這世界，我的臣僕必要爭戰，使我不至於被交給猶太人。只是我的國不屬這世界。」
37彼拉多就對他說：「這樣，你是王嗎？」耶穌回答說：「你說我是王。我為此而生，也為此來到世間，特為給真理作見證。凡屬真理的人就聽我的話。」

願你的國降臨，願你的旨意行在地上，如同行在天上。（馬太福音 Matthew 6:10）
your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

世上的國成了我主和主基督的國，他要做王，直到永永遠遠。（啟示錄 Revelation 11:15）
The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.

論到子卻說：神啊，你的寶座是永永遠遠的，你的國權是正直的。（希伯來書 Hebrews 1:8）
But about the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

律法本是藉著摩西傳的；恩典和真理都是由耶穌基督來的。從來沒有人看見神，只有在父懷裡的獨生子將他表明出來。（約翰福音 John 1:17,18）
For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and[b] is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

c.聖潔的明證與邪惡的顯明
The Evidence of Holiness and the Revelation of Evil
38彼拉多說：「真理是什麼呢？」說了這話，又出來到猶太人那裡，對他們說：「我查不出他有什麼罪來。
39但你們有個規矩，在逾越節要我給你們釋放一個人，你們要我給你們釋放猶太人的王嗎？」
40他們又喊著說：「不要這人，要巴拉巴！」這巴拉巴是個強盜。

像這樣聖潔、無邪惡、無玷汙、遠離罪人、高過諸天的大祭司，原是於我們合宜的。（希伯來書 Hebrews 7:26）
Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.

你們是出於你們的父魔鬼，你們父的私慾你們偏要行。他從起初是殺人的，不守真理，因他心裡沒有真理。他說謊是出於自己，因他本來是說謊的，也是說謊之人的父。（約翰福音 John 8:44）
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

所以天父的兒子若叫你們自由，你們就真自由了。我知道你們是亞伯拉罕的子孫，你們卻想要殺我，因為你們心裡容不下我的道。（約翰福音 John 8:36,37）
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word.

錫安的民哪，應當大大喜樂！耶路撒冷的民哪，應當歡呼！看哪，你的王來到你這裡，他是公義的，並且施行拯救。（撒迦利亞書 Zechariah 9:9）
Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious,

禱讀：約十八章37節

你說我是王，我為此而生，也為此來到世間，特為給真理作見證。
You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth.

33Pilate then went back inside the palace, summoned Jesus and asked him, "Are you the king of the Jews?"
34"Is that your own idea," Jesus asked, "or did others talk to you about me?"
35"Am I a Jew?" Pilate replied. "Your own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What is it you have done?"
36Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place."
37"You are a king, then!" said Pilate. Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."
38"What is truth?" retorted Pilate. With this he went out again to the Jews gathered there and said, "I find no basis for a charge against him.
39But it is your custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of the Passover. Do you want me to release 'the king of the Jews'?"
40They shouted back, "No, not him! Give us Barabbas!" Now Barabbas had taken part in an uprising."
