|
Hymn:What a Mystery |
1.
O what a mystery, the Savior With me is one! O what a marvelous salvation God gives me in His Son! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Glorious mystery! Nothing in heav'n or earth can sever Jesus my Lord from me! 2. Oh, how transcendent! With the Savior I have been raised; Sin, devil can no longer bother, Through all eternal days! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! What transcendency! We two as one now live together -- Jesus my Lord and me! |
The final prayer and the connection between God and man |
a. The mutual indwelling and the manifestation of witness |
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.
The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemies before you, saying, 'Destroy them!' So Israel dwells securely;
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.”
b. The complete unity and the same Fatherly love |
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
c. The revelation of glory and the indication of the Father's name |
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 因此,我既聽見你們信從主耶穌,親愛眾聖徒,就為你們不住的感謝神。
For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God's people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[f] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy
How good and pleasant it is, when God's people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing,
I in them and you in me-so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then know that you have loved them even as you have loved me.
20 | "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, |
21 | that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. |
22 | I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one- |
23 | I in them and you in me-so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. |
24 | "Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. |
25 | "Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. |
26 | I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." |
