| 18 | 世人若恨你們，你們知道，恨你們以先已經恨我了。 |
| 19 | 你們若屬世界，世界必愛屬自己的；只因你們不屬世界，乃是我從世界中揀選了你們，所以世界就恨你們。 |
| 20 | 你們要記念我從前對你們所說的話：「僕人不能大於主人。」他們若逼迫了我，也要逼迫你們；若遵守了我的話，也要遵守你們的話。 |
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. 我所忍受是何等的逼迫，但從這一切苦難中，主都把我救出來了。不但如此，凡立志在基督耶穌裡敬虔度日的，也都要受逼迫（提摩太後書 2 Timothy 3:11,12）

Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 我們從前也都在他們中間，放縱肉體的私慾，隨著肉體和心中所喜好的去行，本為可怒之子，和別人一樣。（以弗所書 Ephesians 2:2）
in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 他誠然擔當我們的憂患，背負我們的痛苦，我們卻以為他受責罰，被神擊打苦待了。（以賽亞書 Isaiah 53:4）
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.

Save me, O God, for the waters have come up to my neck ... Those who hate me without reason outnumber the hairs of my head; many are my enemies without cause, those who seek to destroy me. 聖靈與我們的心同證我們是神的兒女…如果我們和他一同受苦，也必和他一同得榮耀。（羅馬書 Romans 8:16,17）
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children ... I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 神為愛他的人所預備的，是眼睛未曾看見，耳朵未曾聽見，人心也未曾想到的。只有神藉著聖靈向我們顯明了。因為聖靈參透萬事，就是神深奧的事也參透了。（哥林多前書 1 Corinthians 2:9,10）
What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived" -- the things God has prepared for those who love him -- these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 唯獨我的僕人迦勒，因他另有一個心志，專一跟從我，我就把他領進他所去過的那地。他的後裔也必得那地為業。（民數記 Numbers 14:24）
But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.
禱讀：約十五章26, 27節 從父出來真理的聖靈；他來了，就要為我作見證。你們也要作見證 The Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father -- he will testify about me. And you also must testify
| 18 | If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. |
| 19 | If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. |
| 20 | Remember what I told you: 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. |
| 21 | They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. |
| 22 | If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. |
| 23 | Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. |
| 24 | If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. |
| 25 | But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: "They hated me without reason." |
| 26 | "When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father -- the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father -- he will testify about me. |
| 27 | 27 And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning. |
