你若是一心相信，就可以……我信耶穌基督是神的兒子。
If you believe with all your heart, you may. ... I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
a.敬畏的尋求與聖靈的眷顧
The seeking of reverence and the favor of the Holy Spirit
26.有主的一個使者對腓利說：「起來！向南走，往那從耶路撒冷下迦薩的路上去。」那路是曠野。
27.腓利就起身去了，不料，有一個衣索比亞人(Ethiopia古實)，是個有大權的太監，在衣索比亞女王干大基的手下總管銀庫，他上耶路撒冷禮拜去了。
28.現在回來，在車上坐著，念先知以賽亞的書。
29.聖靈對腓利說：「你去！貼近那車走。」
30.腓利就跑到太監那裡，聽見他念先知以賽亞的書，便問他說：「你所念的，你明白嗎？」
31.他說：「沒有人指教我，怎能明白呢？」於是請腓利上車，與他同坐。

我又聽見主的聲音說：我可以差遣誰呢？誰肯為我們去呢？我說：我在這裏，請差遣我！（以賽亞書 6:8）
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, Here am I. Send me!

飢渴慕義的人有福了！因為他們必得飽足。（馬太福音 5:6）
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就給你們開門。（馬太福音 7:7）
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

b.基督的預言與傳講的開啟
The prophecies of Christ and the revelation of preaching
32他所念的那段經，說：他像羊被牽到宰殺之地，又像羊羔在剪毛的人手下無聲；他也是這樣不開口。
33他卑微的時候，人不按公義審判他；誰能述說他的世代，因為他的生命從地上奪去。
34太監對腓利說：「請問，先知說這話是指著誰？是指著自己呢？是指著別人呢？」
35腓利就開口從這經上起，對他傳講耶穌。

因有一嬰孩為我們而生；有一子賜給我們。政權必擔在他的肩頭上；他名稱為奇妙策士、全能的神、永在的父、和平的君。（以賽亞書 9:6）
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

耶和華的靈必住在他身上，就是智慧和聰明的靈，謀略和能力的靈，知識和敬畏耶和華的靈。他必以敬畏耶和華為樂。（以賽亞書 11:2,3）
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him — the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord—And He will delight in the fear of the Lord.

c.全心的相信與受浸的喜樂
Wholehearted faith and the joy of baptism
36二人正往前走，到了有水的地方，太監說：「看哪，這裡有水，我受浸有什麼妨礙呢？」
37腓利說：「你若是一心相信，就可以。」他回答說：「我信耶穌基督是神的兒子。」
38於是吩咐車站住，腓利和太監二人同下水裡去，腓利就給他施浸。
39從水裡上來，主的靈把腓利提了去，太監也不再見他了，就歡歡喜喜的走路。
40後來有人在亞鎖都遇見腓利；他走遍那地方，在各城宣傳福音，直到該撒利亞。

但願使人有盼望的神，因信將諸般的喜樂平安充滿你們的心，使你們藉著聖靈的能力大有盼望。（羅馬書 15:13）
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

這水所表明的受浸，現在藉著耶穌基督復活也拯救你們；受浸本不在乎除掉肉體的汙穢，只求在神面前有無虧的良心。（彼得前書 3:21）
Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
