兩個人到了，就為他們禱告，要叫他們受聖靈。
When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit,

a.真理的領受與使徒的接納
The reception of truth and the acceptance by the apostles
14.使徒在耶路撒冷聽見撒瑪利亞人領受了神的道，就打發彼得、約翰往他們那裡去。
15.兩個人到了，就為他們禱告，要叫他們受聖靈。
16.因為聖靈還沒有降在他們一個人身上，他們只奉主耶穌的名受了浸。

我們不拘是猶太人，是希臘人，是為奴的，是自主的，都從一位聖靈受浸，成了一個身體，飲於一位聖靈。（哥林多前書 12:13）
For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

b.愛裡的合一與聖靈的顯明
The oneness in love and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit
17於是使徒按手在他們頭上，他們就受了聖靈。
18西門看見使徒按手，便有聖靈賜下，就拿錢給使徒，
19說：「把這權柄也給我，叫我手按著誰，誰就可以受聖靈。」

因為我們在基督耶穌裏都是一了。（加拉太書 3:28）
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

聖靈降臨在你們身上，你們就必得著能力；並要在耶路撒冷、猶太全地，和撒馬利亞，直到地極，作我的見證人。（使徒行傳 1:8）
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

c.罪惡的苦膽與存心的純潔
The bitterness of sin and the purity of intention
20彼得說：「你的銀子和你一同滅亡吧！因你想神的恩賜是可以用錢買的。
21你在這道上無分無關；因為在神面前，你的心不正。
22你當懊悔你這罪惡，祈求主，或者你心裡的意念可得赦免。
23我看出你正在苦膽之中，被罪惡捆綁。」
24西門說：願你們為我求主，叫你們所說的，沒有一樣臨到我身上。
25使徒既證明主道，而且傳講，就回耶路撒冷去，一路在撒瑪利亞好些村莊傳揚福音。

他是自高自大，一無所知…壞了心術、他們以敬虔為得利的門路。（提摩太前書 6:4,5）
they are conceited and understand nothing…corrupt mind…and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

我們所誇的是自己的良心，見證我們憑著神的聖潔和誠實；在世為人不靠人的聰明，乃靠神的恩惠，向你們更是這樣。（哥林多後書 1:12）
Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity[b] and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God's grace.

主的見證人：

活出真理、傳揚福音、愛人如己、謙卑服事

活出真理：

我聽見我的兒女們按真理而行，我的喜樂就沒有比這個大的。（約翰三書 1:4）
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

感謝神！常帥領我們在基督裡誇勝，並藉著我們在各處顯揚那因認識基督而有的馨香之氣。（哥林多後書 2:14）
But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ's triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.

傳揚福音：

凡我所行的，都是為福音的緣故，為要與人同得這福音的好處。（哥林多前書 9:23）
I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

愛人如己：愛是恆久忍耐又有恩慈…凡事包容，凡事相信，凡事盼望，凡事忍耐（哥林多前書 13:4,7）
Love is patient, love is kind. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

謙卑服事：

我心裡柔和謙卑，你們當負我的軛，學我的樣式。（馬太福音 11:29）
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

我在你們中間始終為人如何，服事主凡事謙卑，眼中流淚。（使徒行傳 20:19）
You know how I lived the whole time…I served the Lord with great humility and with tears.

我們的心志 Our aspirations

聖靈降臨在你們身上，你們就必得著能力；作我的見證人。（使徒行傳 1:8）
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses.
