I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

一、啟示祂的所是 Reveal what He is

1. 起頭的神 —— The God of Beginning

祂是一切的父 —— He is the Father of all.

耶和華對亞伯蘭說：你要離開本地、本族、父家，往我所要指示你的地去。我必叫你成為大國，我必賜福給你，叫你的名為大，你也要叫別人得福。（創世記 12:1,2）
The Lord had said to Abram, "Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you. "I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.（Genesis 12:1,2）

一切都是出於神，他藉著基督使我們與他和好，又將勸人與他和好的職分賜給我們。（哥林多後書 5:18）
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:（2 Corinthians 5:18）

2. 應許的神 —— The God of Promise

應許賜福愛祂者 —— Promise to bless those who love Him

為你祝福的，我必賜福與他；那咒詛你的，我必咒詛他。地上的萬族都要因你得福。（創世記 12:3）
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.（Genesis 12:3）

論福，我必賜大福給你；論子孫，我必叫你的子孫多起來，如同天上的星，海邊的沙。你子孫必得著仇敵的城門，並且地上萬國都必因你的後裔得福，因為你聽從了我的話。（創世記 22:17,18）
I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me."（Genesis 22:17,18）

3. 信心的神 —— The God of Faith

喜悅信靠的人 —— Please those who trust

並且我如今在肉身活，是因神兒子的信而活，祂是愛我，為我捨己。（加二20）

亞伯拉罕因著信，蒙召的時候就遵命出去，往將來要得為業的地方去；出去的時候，還不知往那裡去。（希伯來書 11:8）
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.（Hebrews 11:8）

他在無可指望的時候，因信仍有指望，就得以做多國的父，正如先前所說：你的後裔將要如此。（羅馬書 4:18）
Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, So shall your offspring be. the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.（Romans 4:18）

並且仰望神的應許，總沒有因不信心裡起疑惑，反倒因信心裡得堅固，將榮耀歸給神，且滿心相信神所應許的必能做成。（羅馬書 4:20,21）
Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.（Romans 4:20,21）

4. 活人的神 —— The God of the living

獨一永活真神 —— The One and Only Living God

亞伯拉罕所信的是那叫死人復活，使無變為有的神，他在主面前做我們世人的父，如經上所記：我已經立你做多國的父。（羅馬書 4:17）
I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed —— the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.（Romans 4:17）

論到這兒子，曾有話說：從以撒生的才要稱為你的後裔。他以為神還能叫人從死裡復活，他也彷彿從死中得回他的兒子來。（希伯來書 11:18.19）
even though God had said to him, It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned. Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.（Hebrews 11:18.19）

論到死人復活…他說：我是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。神不是死人的神，乃是活人的神。（Matthew 22:31,32）
But about the resurrection of the dead —— 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the God of the dead but of the living."（Matthew 22:31,32）

二、啟示他的所做Reveal what he did

1. 尋找人 —— to seek people

主動呼召 —— actively call upon people

耶和華向亞伯蘭顯現，說：我要把這地賜給你的後裔。亞伯蘭就在那裡為向他顯現的耶和華築了一座壇。（創世記 12:7）
The Lord appeared to Abram and said, "To your offspring I will give this land." So he built an altar there to the Lord, who had appeared to him.（Genesis 12:7）

2. 稱義人 —— To justify people

因信稱義白白賜福 —— justified by faith, blessed freely.

於是領他走到外邊，說：你向天觀看，數算眾星，能數得過來嗎？又對他說：你的後裔將要如此。亞伯蘭信耶和華，耶和華就以此為他的義。（創世記 15:5,6）
He took him outside and said, Look up at the sky and count the stars —— if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be. Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.（Genesis 15:5,6）

3. 施慈愛 —— Show loving-kindness

守約施慈愛 —— Keep promise to show loving-kindness

所以，你要知道耶和華你的神，他是神，是信實的神：向愛他守他誡命的人守約施慈愛，直到千代；（申命記 7:9）
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.（Deuteronomy 7:9）
