過了四十年，在西乃山的曠野，有一位天使，從荊棘火焰中向摩西顯現。
After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to Moses in the flames of a burning bush in the desert near Mount Sinai.

信息：
a.活神的特選與奮力的裝備
A special selection of God and the equipment of striving
20.那時，摩西生下來，俊美非凡，在他父親家裡撫養了三個月。
21.他被丟棄的時候，法老的女兒拾了去，養為自己的兒子。
22.摩西學了埃及人一切的學問，說話行事都有才能。

她給孩子起名叫摩西，意思說：因我把他從水裡拉出來。（出埃及記 2:10）
She named him Moses, saying, "I drew him out of the water."（Exodus 2:10）

耶穌的智慧和身量，並神和人喜愛他的心，都一齊增長。（路加福音 2:52）
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.（Luke 2:52）

我只有一件事，就是忘記背後，努力面前的，向著標竿直跑，要得神在基督耶穌裡從上面召我來得的獎賞。（腓立比書 3:13,14）
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.（Philippians 3:13,14）

b.憐恤的護庇與弟兄的棄絕
The Compassionate protection and the abandonment of brothers
23他將到四十歲，心中起意去看望他的弟兄以色列人；
24到了那裡，見他們一個人受冤屈，就護庇他，為那受欺壓的人報仇，打死了那埃及人。
25他以為弟兄必明白神是藉他的手搭救他們；他們卻不明白。
26第二天，遇見兩個以色列人爭鬥，就勸他們和睦，說：『你們二位是弟兄，為什麼彼此欺負呢？』
27那欺負鄰舍的把他推開，說：誰立你作我們的首領和審判官呢？
28難道你要殺我，像昨天殺那埃及人麼？

因為人若有願做的心，必蒙悅納，乃是照他所有的，並不是照他所無的。（哥林多後書 8:12）
For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.（2 Corinthians 8:12）

他不喜悅馬的力大，不喜愛人的腿快。耶和華喜愛敬畏他和盼望他慈愛的人。（詩篇 147:10,11）
His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; The Lord is pleased with those who fear Him, who hope in His loving devotion.（Psalm 147:10,11）

c.降卑的鼓舞與燃燒的荊棘
The encouragement of humility and the burning bush
29摩西聽見這話就逃走了，寄居於米甸；在那裡生了兩個兒子。
30過了四十年，在西乃山的曠野，有一位天使從荊棘火焰中向摩西顯現。
31摩西見了那異象，便覺希奇，正進前觀看的時候，有主的聲音說：
32我是你列祖的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。摩西戰戰兢兢，不敢觀看。

摩西為人極其謙和，勝過世上的眾人。（民數記 12:3）
Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.（Numbers 12:3）

我心裡柔和謙卑，你們當負我的軛，學我的樣式；這樣，你們心裡就必得享安息。（馬太福音 11:29）
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.（Matthew 11:29）

摩西一生的經歷
God led Moses throughout his life.

  1. 我能 ── 埃及皇宮王子 ─ 裝備成全，前40年
    I can (a prince in the Egyptian palace -- fully equipped), The first 40 years
  2. 我不能 ── 牧人曠野謀生 ─ 試煉降卑，中40年
    I can't (a shepherd in the wilderness-- humiliated by trials), The middle 40 years
  3. 神能 ── 領眾民進美地 ─ 全心信靠，末40年
    God can (a guide lead the people into the Goodland -- trust wholeheartedly), The last 40 years
20"At that time Moses was born, and he was no ordinary child.[d] For three months he was cared for by his family.
21When he was placed outside, Pharaoh's daughter took him and brought him up as her own son.
22Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action.
23"When Moses was forty years old, he decided to visit his own people, the Israelites.
24He saw one of them being mistreated by an Egyptian, so he went to his defense and avenged him by killing the Egyptian.
25Moses thought that his own people would realize that God was using him to rescue them, but they did not.
26The next day Moses came upon two Israelites who were fighting. He tried to reconcile them by saying, 'Men, you are brothers; why do you want to hurt each other?'
27"But the man who was mistreating the other pushed Moses aside and said, 'Who made you ruler and judge over us?
28Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian yesterday?'
29When Moses heard this, he fled to Midian, where he settled as a foreigner and had two sons.
30"After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to Moses in the flames of a burning bush in the desert near Mount Sinai.
31When he saw this, he was amazed at the sight. As he went over to get a closer look, he heard the Lord say:
32'I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.'[f] Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look.
