背起十架跟耶穌;
今與雄心同歸盡;

恩主也曾被棄嫌;

來罷!痛苦和嘲譏;
我既將心注於你;

不過驅我到你前;

信當籐牌,求當翼;

Hymn:
Jesus I my cross have taken

1.
Jesus, I my cross have taken,
All to leave and follow Thee;
Destitute, despised, forsaken,
Thou, from hence, my all shalt be.
Perish every fond ambition,
All I've sought, and hoped, and known;
Yet how rich is my condition,
God and Christ are still my own!

2.
Let the world despise and leave me,
They have left my Savior, too;
Human hearts and looks deceive me;
Thou art not, like man, untrue;
And, while Thou shalt smile upon me,
God of wisdom, love, and might,
Foes may hate, and friends disown me;
Show Thy face, and all is bright.

3.
Man may trouble and distress me,
'Twill but drive me to Thy breast;
Life with trials hard may press me,
Christ will bring me sweeter rest.
O 'tis not in grief to harm me,
While Thy love is left to me;
O 'twere not in joy to charm me,
Were that joy unmixed with Thee.

4.
Haste then on from grace to glory,
Armed by faith and winged by prayer;
God's eternal day's before thee,
God's own hand shall guide thee there.
Soon shall close thy earthly mission,
Swift shall pass thy pilgrim days,
Hope shall change to glad fruition,
Faith to sight, and prayer to praise.

The destruction through man and the victory through the Lord

For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men.

信息:
The annihilation of boast and the scattering of followers

Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.(Proverbs 16:18)

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God.(2 Corinthians 10:4,5)

The corruption of human will and the fulfillment of God's will
38現在,我勸你們不要管這些人,任憑他們吧!他們所謀的、所行的,若是出於人,必要敗壞;

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?(Romans 8:31)

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.(Isaiah 41:10)

The humiliation for the Lord and the joy in loving the Lord

But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. "So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God.(Genesis 45:7-8)

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.(Genesis 50:20)

Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me… whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?(Matthew 16:24-26)

33When they heard this, they were furious and wanted to put them to death.
34But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while.
35Then he addressed the Sanhedrin: "Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men.
36Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing.
37After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered.
38Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail.
39But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God."
40His speech persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
41The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.
42Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.
