You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.

For you, Lord, have delivered me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living（Psalm 116:8,9） 當耶和華使被擄的人歸回錫安的時候，我們好像作夢的人。我們滿口喜笑、滿舌歡呼的時候，外邦中就有人說：耶和華為他們行了大事！（詩篇 126:1,2）
When the Lord restored the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Then our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with shouts of joy. Then it was said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them.（Psalm 126:1,2）

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,（1 Peter 1:3） 神對摩西說：我是那我是(自有永有的)…耶和華─你們祖宗的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。（出埃及記 3:14,15）
God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM…The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob（Exodus 3:14,15） 看哪，我的僕人─我所扶持所揀選、心裡所喜悅的！我已將我的靈賜給他；他必將公理傳給外邦…壓傷的蘆葦，他不折斷；將殘的燈火，他不吹滅。他憑真實將公理傳開。（以賽亞書 42:1,3）
"Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations…A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;（Isaiah 42:1,3）

and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms,（Ephesians 1:19,20） 因為我們這活著的人是常為耶穌被交於死地，使耶穌的生在我們這必死的身上顯明出來。（哥林多後書 4:11）
For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.（2 Corinthians 4:11）

| 10 | they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. |

| 12 | When Peter saw this, he said to them: "Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? |
| 13 | The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. |
| 14 | You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. |
| 15 | You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. |
| 16 | By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see. |
